Alfred's son, Steve, sent me these pictures in late 2011 together with some from Alfred's time at HMS GANGES. They are especially welcome as they also fill the gap almost exactly between the end of the war and my joining at GANGES in 1954. (See HMS GANGES section)
Joining HMS GANGES on the 15th of November 1945 ALFRED PRIGMORE completed his training there a year later and within ten months was in Singapore.
